Gravity System Response

For an artist whose last decade of practice has, for the most part, included some form of performative element to its makeup, this series has been made in stark contrast. Keating's studio is littered with hundreds of containers of mixed pigments. In the corner lies a mound of rags laden with excess runoff. The walls are marked with layer upon layer of colour, each running over the top of the last with a ghostly effect. There is a resounding presence of time. Time spent spraying, washing and waiting… on repeat, day after day after day.
